Beach Party

This is a fun party for anyone 5-13. This party was sent in from Anna Geurts, Georgia, United States.

Invites- The first idea is to take a plastic shovel. Print out your invites and put the shovel in a plastic bag. Fill with candy, small rocks, etc. Another Idea is to take and print out your invite. Roll it up and tie it with a string. Put it inside of a bottle with a cork. You could also scorch the edges of the invite to make it look "Beachy".

Decorations- To start off we took a red frisbee. We printed out a sign that said "Happy Birthday ---------------" and pasted it in the middle of the frisbee. We then took some small umbrellas and pasted them all around the frisbee. Tie a sting on back to hang and done!

We also made styrofoam palm trees that we put around the house. We cut out monkeys out of construction paper and hung them around. If it is outside you could put some sand on a tarp. Or have sand boxes avaible.

Pink Lemonade Party

This is a cute, fun party for girls ages 8-14.

Invites- Here are a couple of Templates for invites.
Decorations- Depending on the weather this is a great party for both outside and inside. For outside parties, set up a long table. Put a pink, white, or light yellow tablecloth on it. Each table setting gets a set of plastic silverware wrapped in a light pink or yellow napkin. At a small table set up all the food.  (See food for ideas.) That way people could go and get their own food instead of people crawling across the table. Set the plates on the food table also so you may be able to play some simple games at the table (See game/ activities.) . You may also set up a canopy above the table if you want. For inside parties. Hang up some Flower Balls - How to make a Flower Puff Ball-  On a dining room or kitchen table, put all your food/ treats. If it is againest a wall you can hang a large table cloth (pink, yellow, or white) against the wall. If you have room, set up a table for everyone to eat at. You may cut out different happy birthday signs to hang up. For the tables (outside or inside) get a yellow flower pot and put light pink flowers in it. Put 2-3 of these around the table.

Food/ Treats-  Some good foods are strawberry pudding, banana pudding, donuts, cookies, lemonade, pink lemonade, sandwhices, and a cake. Also get some small jars or glasses from your local dollar store and put pink and yellow striped straws in them. ( If you cannont find any, use yellow straws and put pink tape around it.)

Activities/ Games- You could have a scavanger hunt. You could give each team a camera and a list of things to take a picture of. You could also just have a list of things for them to get. Don't forget to be safe and have an adult with each team. -Scavanger Hunt Ideas-

Rain Shower Baby Shower

So this is a cute fun party I found that I just LOVE!

So for invites take some scrapbook paper (the picture shows blue with pokadots) and cut into squares. Then take another piece of scrapbook paper (the picture show yellow with stripes) and cut into a rectangle line. Paste the Rectangle on the square paper. Take an info sheet and write your info. A good use of words is- Please join us for a shower in honer of _Name_of____Person_____   Day, Month and date Time Address _Name of Person__ and Baby are registered at _______ -  At our party we had a special cake which revealed what the gender is so we did not tell on the invite but you can if you want to.

Decorations- We made some tissue paper puff balls - How to make Tissue Paper Puff Balls - using white tissue paper. We then cut out some Rain drop shapes out of blue construction paper. We tied 3 raindrops to clear fishing line and tied the fishing line to the puff ball. We then covered the wall with a large blue table cloth and taped these Raindrop/Puffballs to the top of the tablecloth. We made three of these and taped one to the right, left and middle on the top of the tablecloth. We put a table in front of the tablecloth (For food) and covered it with another blue tablecloth. We put some round tables around the room (To eat) and put more blue table cloths on them. We then hung more of the raindrops/ puffballs around the room.

Food- We made some simple vanilla cupcakes and frosted them blue. We then took and printed out small white clouds- Click here to print out the cloud- and taped them to toothpicks. We stuck the toothpicks in the cupcakes. We also made sugar cookies (Frosted them blue) and cakepops (Frosted them yellow). We also used some jars and took some striped straws. We printed out more clouds and weaved the straw thourgh the cloud. That was dessert but for regular food we served different pastas.

Games/Activities-
1. Have everybody give tips on being a mother.
Here is a link to see different games and activities.

WipeOut Pool- Birthday party

Those of us who love swimming and having fun, this is the party for you. This is a great party for both girls and boys ages 8+.

Invitations-  I got a template of google by searching "WipeOut Party Invites" There is plenty more so try searching it up.

Another one is try using a program like Microsoft Word. Create a blank white square. Use the Fill in tool and make it a water blue. Create a red circle and put it on the inside of the blue square. Put your info on the inside of the red circle and try and make the blue part look like 'Splashing Water'.

Make it the wipeout course!-  We went and rented a Hotel room at a local hotel and used the pool on the day of the party. This hotal did not allow parties unless you rented a room but some hotals allow parties. We started by purchesing 3 red Excersise balls (you can do more but do not do less than 2).  We placed them onto Baby Floties (In the picture it has tires, you can do this but it may hurt if you hit it.). We set them up in a straight line about 3 feet from the edge of the pool. The kids then had to run from the edge and run across the ball like they do in the real show. This Picture does not show the balls in the water, you can try it this way but it may hurt if you fall.

After the balls we placed a piece of plastic to land on. We cut  4 different pieces of wood and painted blue and white zig-zags to make the tumbler boards like that are on the show. The kids had to jump across that to another piece of plastic to land on.
(The tumbler boards from the show.)

After that we had a rounded piece of Red wood that had handles on the side the person sat on the wood and we spinned them around until they got dizzy. We then walk on a long piece of wood.
That was the end of the course.

The kids played on that for awile and some of them just played in the water.

Food- We just had pizza and cupcakes. The cupcakes were chocolate with vanilla frosting with a large red ball on the top.

Decorations- We got some red balloons and put them around the table. We put a white tablecloth on the table and wala!

Neopoliton Ice-Cream Party

This is a great party for all tweens ages 10-14.

Treats- You can have Icecream or you can decorate cookies and cupcakes to look like icecream. You make icecream cakepops, Icecream sugar cookies, Icecream cupcakes and more!

Drinks- For Drinks we served Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry milk. We got some old fashioned milk containers and cute pink and brown straws.

Games/ Activities- Here are some cute, fun games to do at this party:

1. Split into 2 teams. Each team gets a bag of random items. Each team must go into a different room and make a skit out of those items. The teams then present their skits.

2. Play pin the lips on the froggy

3. Fill boxes with random items. Cut slits into the top of the boxes (big enough to fit a hand down it, small enough you can't see down it.). Have everybody feel what is inside and guess what is in it. You can also do the same thing but smelling it.

4. Watch a movie. Some good PG movies are The Sleepover, Princess Diraires (1 or 2) and Bridewars.

Lego Birthday Party

This is a great party for any boy age 3-12.

Invitations- Start by cutting out circles out in diferent Lego Colors (Red, Blue, Yellow and green.) Paste onto a matching Piece of Construction paper.

Wrtie lego on each circle. Fold the top and bottom of the construction paper to make somewhat of an Envalope.

Using Mircrosoft Word make a small information Slip. Paste it inside of the envolope.

Food- We started by cutting Construction paper into squares and pasting them around the sides of a juicebox. We cut out two (2) darker colored circles and pasted them on the front of the juicebox. I also cut out a small square with a bump on the top and bottom. I then drew the lego face. Don't forget to use Clear Straws!
For the cupcakes we made chocolate and vanilla cupcakes and put them in a silver cupcake liner we got from walmart. We frosted them with Cream Cheese Frosting (You can use vanilla also). We made some small lego candies using a lego mold. To see how to make these candies click on this link- How to make Mold Candy

For the birthday boy's cake we made 5 rectangle shaped cakes. We then frosted them in the different lego colors (Red, green, blue and yellow.). We made some circle shaped mold candies and put them on the cake to make them a lego.

Decorations- I started by putting a blue table cloth on all the tables. I then sprinkled legos on it. You can go to the store and by some lego sets, build them and have lego people on the table or you can just leave it like that. I also purchesed some EXTRA-LARGE construction paper. We took a darker marker and drew circles on the paper to make a lego. We hung these around the room. If you have enough legos you can build towers to place around the room.

Games/ Activties- At our party we had a large bounce toy but you can do lots of things:

1. Purchese lego sets at walmart for $5-20 and have each kid build a lego car. Then have everyone race their cars.

2. Split into teams and have each team build the largest lego tower they can in 15 minutes.

3. Split into teams. Each team has 2 tables about 7 feet apart. They must use a straw and suck up a lego and carry it to the other table. The team who moves all their legos wins.

4. Have a bouncy house like me!

5. Put legos in a see though jar. Have everyone write down how many legos are in the jar.
6. Use paper strips and make a lego toss

Have fun with your PARTY!
